System Requirements

Software Requirements

  • Operating System : Windows XP OR Windows Server 2003
  • .NET Framework : .NET Framework Version 2.0
  • Web Server : IIS 5.0 or IIS 6.0 with ASP.NET

Database Requirements

  • Database Server : SQL Server 2000 with SP3 or SQL Server 2005 or SQL Express 2005
  • MSSQL Server 2000 to be available on port 1433(port 1433 should be open in your network and not blocked by any Firewall).
  • Password Authentication: The administrator is aware of the Windows Administrator (or equivalent) password and SQL server’s SA (or equivalent) password.

Authentication & Security

  • Active Directory services (ADS) integration is provided where ADS is available. Open necessary ports in the firewall for the LDAP service.
  • For component auto discovery the following ports have to be enabled on the network. Port 135, WMIAPP (unsecapp.exe) application should not be blocked by the firewall.
  • Port 161 UDP, SNMP on should be enabled on network devices for auto discovery.
  • ICMP (ping) has to be enabled on the network.
  • If WSS is up and running, an alternate port has to be assigned for configuring the application.
  • IIS to be available on port 80 or any other as designed by the customer. (Port should be open in your network and not blocked by any Firewall).
